Oh god... This level.

I hated this level. But this song playing in it would make it just so much better! Sonic 3 was the only one out of the first 3 that I never finished. (Well in Sonic 2 I couldn't beat the Death Egg but still I got that far didn't I?) I haven't a clue how far I got in Sonic 3. Ah well. Keep up the Great Work!

DrMackFoxx responds:

Want to know something that annoyed me to no end in Sonic 3? Carnival Night Zone Act 2. I remember getting that far in Sonic 3 back in 1993, but I could never clear that level. To think it took 17 years for me to finally give the game another chance and try to figure out why I couldn't get passed those annoying, bouncing barrels in that level. Finally got passed that part. Yeesh... I still have not cleared that game, either. ^_^;

Well, thanks again for yet another great review and I'm glad you loved this track! :)

Insert Summary Name Here.

This song just has that 'old' feel to it. And it's one of the best things about it! :D

Keep it up!

DrMackFoxx responds:

I shall indeed try hard to keep up the good work. :) I think choosing the Honky-Tonk Piano as the lead instrument is what really made this song stand out as well as give it a nostalgic feel.

I'm very happy you enjoyed this track and thank you very much for another great review! :)

I heard so many of these.

And this is one of the best! :D

DrMackFoxx responds:

You really think so? Wow! Thank you very, very much! ^_^

Twinkle Cart.

I don't like this song as much as twinkle cart. Twinkle cart just has a much nicer tune I believe. Keep up the good work!

DrMackFoxx responds:

Yeah, I would agree with you that this track is not as good as Twinkle Cart. Still, glad to hear you liked it and thanks a lot for another review! :)

So very good.

This, though I haven't actually even seen this level, have heard many remixes and they are all awesome and this one is no exception. Keep up the great work!

DrMackFoxx responds:

Ah! Well, this song was used in two different games, the first being the Sega Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast. That theme was then remixed for the game Sonic Adventure. Both official versions of that song are among my all-time favorites from all the Sonic the Hedgehog games. You may not believe this, but I actually put together this piano arrangement back in 2001 when playing around with a MIDI player which let you change the instruments and other settings of whatever MIDI file it was playing. It took a long time before I finally decided to contact John Weeks and ask for his permission to use this song. Fortunately, he agreed and is now my collaborator on this and my other music tracks.

At any rate, thank you very much for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed this song! :)

Woah.

Only just now did I notice that it had looped over 10 ten times. I didn't even know it was a loop! So that's a good show of how well it loops.

TritoneAngel responds:

I lucked out with that. Always a gamble when posting here. Thanks for listening.

Woah.

This is great. Really reminds me of some town music in FF4. I like it.

sarias responds:

troia theme was my inspiration :)

So good.

This song is awesome. But that level... I hate it so much. If it weren't for emulators and save states I NEVER would have beaten it. Thanks to the emulator I beat the game by losing only 1 or 2 lives. Without the emulator I couldn't even beat act 1 of Marble zone. That was a VERY hard game.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Yeah. I found Sonic the Hedgehog to be much more difficult than Sonic 2. Still, nothing gives me as much frustration as Carnival Night Zone Act 2 from Sonic 3. Emulators and Game Genie for the win, if you ask me.

I'm glad you really liked this track and thanks a lot for the review!

;_;

All your new stuff is SO good but... I HATE THE TAILS DOLL!!! D;

DreamEater responds:

thank you, but why? :/
